Following the recent release of the new CHC08 Community Services Training package, new students who are wanting to enrol in a course can start studying the subjects which will directly transfer over to the new training package straight away! Ask us how!

The CH08 training package comprises of the following:

CHC30708 - Certificate III in Children's Services

Total 15 units: 11 compulsory, 4 electives

CHC50908 - Diploma of Children's Services (Early Childhood Education and Care)

Total 18 units: 13 compulsory, 5 electives

CHC60208 - Advanced Diploma Of Children's Services

Total 13 units: 7 compulsory, 6 electives

Productivity Places Program (PPP)

The AIECS is an approved Training Provider for the Productivity Places Program - an Australian Federal Government inititive which provides fully funded training for job seekers. Currently AIECS is approved to offer training under this scheme for the Certificate III and Diploma in Children's Services.


To be eligible for a training place, you need to be currently looking for work. You also need to be an Australian citizen or a permanent resident of Australia and be over the age of 15. Some other eligibility criteria apply. Please contact AIECS, employment service provider or from the website: www.productivityplaces.deewr.gov.au Please note, full-time students and people who are self employed are not eligible for the program.

NEW TRAINING PACKAGE!

The AIECS would like to announce the endorsement of the CHC08 Community Services Training Package by the National Quality Council on 26th November 2008 and Ministerial endorsement on 10th December 2008. The AIECS will be issuing students with more information regarding the changes in the upcomming months. Please contact the college for more information.
